Besides professional and social work, I’m simply Rafał Szymański.
Father of four children, from a 4-year-old to a young adult person, so I have several perspectives on upbringing and parenthood.
I’m an avid cyclist, and an accident and resulting mobility disability doesn’t stop me from wandering around Warsaw by bike, which I love and like to talk about.
Petrolhead, which doesn’t exclude my passion for cycling. I have one brand whose cars I’ve been driving for 20 years, but I’m fascinated by motoring in every form and appreciate every brand.
I like and can cook, bake my own bread and apparently I’m very good at it.
AFOL, which means an adult fan of LEGO. It’s like this: I buy and build a lot of LEGO with my son (you know, I’m buying it for him, right?), I even have a special table in the storage room so no one bothers us.
I like music and mixing old techno, my 4-year-old loves home parties and constantly demands them, although for her “techenko” is Crazy Frog.
I’m addicted to learning new things, for several years AI and programming. I wrote several interesting automations for LinkedIn, this site in ASTRO because WordPress is like from a previous era. Now I’m writing a search engine for help points for people in crisis.

I like to educate and it’s appreciated

I’ve stood on the podium of the I ❤️ Marketing conference three times, most recently in April 2025. My TEDx presentation was distinguished by TED. I’ve spoken at Infoshare, eCommerce Standard, Internet Beta and many industry meetings like LinkedIn Local, where participants appreciate my advisory and practical way of conveying knowledge.
I’ve also given lectures for students at SGH and WSB/Merito as well as many companies and NGOs.
I talk about what I do professionally: LinkedIn, building expert brands, digital marketing and B2B sales or social topics related to mental health and parenthood.

Since 2015, I’ve been a social activist involved in mental health issues of children and youth.

As a father of four children, one of whom struggles with mental health issues, this topic is particularly close to me.
My TEDx presentation “Depression is the kidnapper of our children” was distinguished among the best TED presentations about health, which was a huge honor and motivation for further action.
Together with my child, I had the opportunity to tell our story in the documentary film “I Feel Nothing”, in which we shared experiences of living with mental health crisis.
Moreover, I’ve collaborated with government institutions and non-governmental organizations in actions for the reform of child and youth psychiatry.
Currently, I serve as an expert by experience on the mental health committee at the Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights. I’m also a member of the Children and Youth Participation Team, appointed by the Children’s Rights Ombudsman, Monika Horna-Cieślak, and UNICEF Poland. I’m also an ambassador of the “Young Minds” project of the Unaweza Foundation by Martyna Wojciechowska.
