LinkedIn at WordCamp Kraków 2025
WordPress and LinkedIn have a lot in common, I bet even WordCamp organizers don't know about everything. Let's start step by step...

Rafal Szymanski
I implement LinkedIn and Sales Navigator in B2B companies.

Both platforms launched in May 2003, LinkedIn is from May 5, WP is a bit younger, from May 27, so that’s why it’s being arrogant.
Evolution from niche to dominance – that is, we start from zero and currently dominate. WP currently powers 43% of websites worldwide and for me it’s synonymous with CMS.
Similarly with LinkedIn, which has over 1 billion users and has become de facto synonymous with business networking, effectively replacing business card exchange.
Both platforms also fight with the label: “OK, Boomer, you’re outdated”
I don’t know how many times a week I read that LinkedIn is dying because TikTok, X, Instagram or 1001 new platform was created. The same is with WP, where it turned out that new blood in the form of “AI CMS” is mostly hot air, unless someone likes paying $50/month for Webflow for the same thing they have for free in WordPress, or has too much free time because they believed in Ghost’s slogan that lack of CMS panel means fewer attacks.
So in LinkedIn and WordPress I appreciate that maybe someone will say it’s boring but stable and definitely trustworthy.
I don’t know if LinkedIn is attractive to people dealing with WordPress, but I prepared a presentation that will show it from the technical side of finding clients.
I don’t know if you know, but after the presentation you’ll know how to see on LinkedIn that someone was looking for a company doing WordPress, you’ll be able to check if the company has money for you and with whom to talk, because definitely not with the CEO.
So I invite you to my lecture at @WordCamp Kraków 2025, which will take place on June 27-29 at Krakow University of Technology (Działownia building).
I’ll be at networking so you can ask for details later.

If you need something else that is not specified in my offer, e.g. ongoing marketing support, LinkedIn implementation and Employee Advocacy program in your company, let's arrange a 30-minute conversation so I can get to know your problems.
