What positively surprised me was how much importance the organizers attached to the topic by offering the largest hall for over 700 people and the best time. What surprised me even more was that this hall was full and the questions from the audience were very specific and focused on finding solutions, what they can do here and now to solve the problem. "
Campus Polska Przyszłości - debate Let's stop being silent, let's start shouting! Child and youth psychiatry
MP Marta Golbik invited me to Campus Polska Przyszłości in Olsztyn and moderated the debate, which took place on August 29, 2022. The topic was the state of child and adolescent psychiatry in Poland, and the full title said it all: “Let’s stop being silent, let’s start shouting! Child and adolescent psychiatry in collapse”. On the panel with me were dr Aleksandra Lewandowska, dr Mariusz Kaszubowski and Angelika Friedrich.
What surprised me? The organizers gave the topic the largest room, for more than 700 people, and the best slot in the program. The room was full, and the questions from the audience were about finding solutions.

Why I speak about this
I speak as a parent. When my child was diagnosed, I started a blog about teenage depression, and since then I have taken part in debates, conferences and expert teams. I write more about it on the social activities page.
I spoke about the same subject at Onet’s panel at the Economic Forum in Karpacz, and at the Mazovia Development Forum I moderated a debate on children’s and young people’s mental health myself.
